Introduction

These terms and conditions apply to any business conducted with MAQHAMA STORIES. You agree that these terms are binding without qualification or exception.

Products

Variations are inherent in the manufacturing of our hand made knitwear, so you should expect differences from the images advertised

Please talk to us before you place an order to satisfy yourself about this issue because a slight difference and imperfections will not entitle you to reject or return a piece.

Orders

We do not require a deposit, but full payment must be made before the item is shipped to you. Orders will only be accepted once the client has confirmed all details in writing.

Production

Estimated lead time are between 3-6 weeks, depending on the order. While we try our best to keep to these times, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control.
We will keep you informed about the progress of your order.

Deliveries

We dispatch orders once full payment has been made. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that delivery details are correct. Shipment within South Africa is included in the cost.
Shipments outside of South Africa is to customers’ account.

Payment

We accept payments via EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer).
Return and exchanges
Since every piece is made to order, we do not, as a rule, accept returns or offer exchanges. If you feel your order clearly does not meet the order specifications, please contact us as soon as possible so we can look at the best option to solve the issue.

Use of goods

While we make our knitwear to the best of our ability, we don’t know how you intend to use them and cannot make any warranty about their durability.
Advice on how to care for our products is available on our website.

Repair

We offer repair free of charge depending on the damage and if the garment is fixable. Please contact us. The customer is responsible for shipment.

Intellectual property

All of the website content is subject to copyright and none of it may be used without our express content.

Privacy policy

We collect personal information from you when you do business with us. We will only use this information for this purpose. We collect information about your use of the website. We only use this information internally and we do not make it available to anyone else.
Our website is hosted on a secure server.

The entire provision of these terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You irrevocably and unconditionally consent to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa regarding all matters arising.
